Linux Installation

Note

Following guide deals with Oxygen IDE installation. For Oxygen CLI see CLI Guide.

Required Software

  • Java 8 JRE or later

Installation

  1. Download latest distribution archive and extract it to a location of your choice.
  2. To enable recording support in Chrome, Oxygen browser extension needs be installed. Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/oxygen/nddikidjcckpefjbnnnpfokienpkondf and click "Add To Chrome".
  3. To enable recording support for HTTPS websites CARoot.pem needs to be added to the trusted root certificates store. The certificate is located in the archive obtained at step one.

    Fedora 19+, RHEL/CentOS 7+, RHEL/CentOS 6 with RHEA-2013:1596-1 update

    cd OXYGEN_DIR
    sudo cp CARoot.pem /etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors
    sudo update-ca-trust

    Ubuntu, Debian

    cd OXYGEN_DIR
    sudo cp CARoot.pem /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/
    sudo update-ca-certificates
